Many years ago overlooking a gold mine pit south of Townsville in the middle of the night, two good looking roosters were enjoying some of nescafe's blend 43 when the subject of turtle's (Josh) wedding day came up and how he wanted the other guy with him to photograph it. And now we are here looking at this blog that contains love, good times, stunning images and nudity (you have been warned)
Melanie & Josh celebrated their love for each other up at Kurranda. Set on the beautiful property The Billabong it made for the perfect backdrop as these two surrounded by many friends and family said their I do's to each other. You could not have asked for a better day, the sun was out, the beers were cold and the groove of the day just felt right. There were a few shots of Baileys for the ladies early on in the piece (some made it into their mouths, some weren't so lucky) and the boys tucked into a few cold ones.
The ceremony went well as everyone looked on to see the love and hear the beautiful words spoken to each other as they declared their vowels, it was genuinely a special moment to witness and we even spotted a few tears as the realization that these two were about to finally become husband and wife.
After the group shot and the family formals were over the real fun started. We could go on about how the night panned out but we think it would be better for you to either enjoy the slideshow below or scroll away at the beautiful images these two are about to receive.
Mel & Josh, I cant thank you enough for sticking with us through covid and working a new date around us. I am so glad we got there together and exceptionally happy to spend an amazing day with you, your family and your friends.
Massive thanks to:
