Some things in life are just supposed to happen. The love story of Jamee and Jonathon starts way beyond the special date of the 30/01/21. These two like many others have had the covid drama that 2020 bought, so when the date was changed and the venue picked I couldn't wait to head down to photograph it. I was just happy this Townsville wedding photographer had the chance to capture these two surrounded by friends and family down in the hinterlands of the Sunshine Coast where it was so nice and cool for a January wedding!
With the bride getting ready at a beautiful house overlooking the glass house mountains it was easy to see just how wonderful this day was going to be. With the boys looking sharp and the ladies looking lovely it was time to head to the chapel for the long awaited ceremony. Emotions where high for the couple as they celebrated their love for each other surrounded by friends and family. Shortly after the family formals we took the bridal party away for some of the best location photos the Sunshine coast hinterland has to offer including the beautiful one tree hill. As we headed back to enjoy the reception it was easy to see the amount of love that was surrounding these two that day, everybody had beautiful smiles all round as well as laughs and hugs. Just as the evening was wrapping up I snuck Jamee and Jonathon down to the chapel for some night shots and we were not disappointed. Just as we were about to head off it started to lightly shower and while most people aren't a big fan of sitting in the rain these two legends toughed it out so I could grab one of the best flash light stands I have come to know (Thank you again Theron) and set it up behind them and pop... the shutter clicked and the moment was captured... and then the couple heard me drop the F bomb. Not in annoyance, nor anger just plain and simple joy, I knew i'd got something magical.
Thank you so much Jamee and Jonathon and your beautiful families for welcoming me into your wedding and capturing your love story
