Elizabeth + Kris, Magnetic Island Wedding

Updated: Nov 6, 2019

I often say you can never have a bad day on the Island. And that is definitely true. Even for the locals, Magnetic Island feels like a holiday destination, even on a Monday! This particular day was Fathers day and catching the ferry over I couldn't help but notice how beautiful a day it was. The sun was out, it was a comfortable temperature and I had an inkling that we may have a beautiful pink pastel sunset, the kind that we get up here in the winter! The moment I walked into the 'Beached House' I felt right at home as Kris & Elizabeth's family made me feel part of the family for the day! Elizabeth's beautiful Grace Loves Lace dress really stole the show straight away and the day only got better. The morning was a buzz and as the day led into the afternoon it was showtime. The bridal party was made up of what Elizabeth called 'the Brady bunch'. To be honest from the get go you could really see these guys were family already. This was further pronounced with a beautiful sand ceremony conducted by the lovely Jeanette Cole on the waters edge at Picnic bay. After this intimate ceremony was over we gathered around for some group shots. The light was just right as we whisked the lovely couple away to a few destinations around Magnetic Island. With a short pit stop by the lovely Queensland Police Service we finished up the location photos at Picnic Bay jetty. Once we were done we went back to what looked like a seafood feast for the ages! It was a lovely end to a beautiful day!
